Ticketing Information For My Presentation At Farnam Manor

OK, here’s some exciting news for you: I’ll not only be doing a special presentation at Farnam Manor, one of the locations featured in my upcoming book, Ohio’s Historic Haunts, but you’ll also have the opportunity to ghost hunt with me and members of The Ghosts of Ohio!

Farnam Manor Exterior

It all begins at 7:00 pm on Saturday, September 26th. I will be giving a special talk at Farnam Manor that will showcase some of the strangest and spookiest places I’ve visited in my 30+ years investigating the paranormal. A large portion of the presentation will focus on what happened the night I visited Farnam Manor for my book. Members of The Ghosts of Ohio who accompanied me that night will also be on hand to share their personal stories.

Then, after a tour of Farnam Manor, a very lucky few will have the opportunity to conduct a mini-ghost hunt at Farnam Manor with myself and The Ghosts of Ohio.

Tickets are available for the presentation, the ghost hunt, or both. But they won’t last, so grab yours today by clicking here now.

Updated Bio Now Available

Recently, I’ve gotten a few requests from people wanting my most recent bio. I’m guessing they need a bit more information in order to help them decide whether or not they want to be associated with a “weirdo”!

Regardless, the 2014 version of my bio is now available and links to it have been sprinkled throughout this site. But if you’re just dying to get a peek at it, go ahead and click here and in mere seconds, my giant head will magically appear on your desktop!

Update On Ohioana Book Festival

If you were looking for a quick, easy way to stock up on autographed copies of my books, here’s your chance! For the Ohioana Book Festival, in addition to my latest, The Big Book Of Ohio Ghost Stories, I will have three additional titles available for purchase:

  • Weird Ohio
  • Haunted Indiana
  • Weird Indiana

Since that is more titles than usual for the Book Festival, supplies are probably going to be limited. So you might want to get there early. As for me, I’ll be there signing all day until either the books are all gone or else my left arm falls off…which would make for a pretty cool photo-op.

Hope to see you all there!

More information about my books can be found here.

Ohioana Book Festival

I’m very happy (and excited) to announce that for the first time ever in my Ohio-based writing career, my application was accepted and I will be attending the 2014 Ohioana Book Festival. Rumor has it I may even be involved in a panel discussion or two!

Their website is in the process of being updated, but it does already have the basics up (directions, times, etc). If you’re not in the clicking mood, it’s going to be held from 10:00 am until 4:30 pm at the Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center in Columbus.

I will definitely be signing copies of my Big Book Of Ohio Ghost Stories. No confirmation yet, but several of my other books (Weird Ohio, Weird Indiana, Haunted Indiana) are still on the table as being other titles that will be available at the Festival.

More as it develops!

My Strange & Spooky World Is Coming To Oxford, Ohio

You’d think with all the years I’ve spent chasing the Oxford Motorcycle Ghost (not to mention the fact that I have relatives in Oxford and have been allowed to participate in the legendary Townie Nights), that my Strange & Spooky World would have made several appearances in Oxford, Ohio. Not so. But all that’s going to change on Sunday, September 29th, with a very special appearance.

For this appearance, I will be sharing audio, video, and photos from all sorts of strange and spooky things I have encountered while writing some of my books, including the soon-to-be-released The Big Book Of Ohio Ghost Stories. It will also include a Q&A session and a book signing reception, complete with tasty refreshments!

It all gets started at 2:00 pm at the Oxford Community Arts Center Ballroom. Tickets are $15.00 a person.

Seating for this unique event is very limited, so don’t wait to get your tickets. Call (513) 280-6115 or e-mail margimoul@gmail.com to reserve your seats today!

My Big Book Is Being Printed As We Speak!

It’s almost time: 26 days and counting, to be exact. On September 1st, my latest work, The Big Book Of Ohio Ghost Stories, will be released.

It should be available at all major bookstores in Ohio as well as all the usual online sellers. In fact, you can pre-order it right now on Amazon at a substantial discount. Click here to do just that.

Of course, if you can’t wait until September 1st, Stackpole Books, my publisher, might have a couple of first editions hot off the presses and ready to go now. Give a click here to see if they have one with your name on it.

And for those of you who have been asking, the answer is “yes”. I will indeed have copies for sale at all my upcoming presentations, beginning September 15th.
