More on the Project

So what is it about this book project of mine that makes it blog-worthy? Well, since the project is a work-in-progress, I can’t get into too many specifics, but here’s what I can tell you:

For starters, this is an actual book, with a publisher and everything! I will be the sole author of the book and will also be responsible for all the photos in the book. The release date is currently scheduled for a late summer 2011 release and will be published by a university in Ohio, which, for now, shall remain nameless.

This book will be different from all other Ohio ghost books in that the vast majority of the locations have not been featured in any book yet. What’s more, my book will go beyond the rumors and hearsay that often accompany ghost books in general. To that end, I will be visiting the 20+ locations to be included in the book and not only spending time talking to owners and others who have had ghostly encounters, but I will also be spending the night inside all of the locations.

So that’s where this blog comes in; you’ll get to (virtually) come along with me to each of these locations. Granted, I can’t give away everything about where I’m going and what happened (that’s what the book is for), but blog readers will be able to get an up-close and personal take on what goes on behind the scenes during the making of the book. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. Hope you do, too! If not, be sure to let me know!

Cheers!
