I have to admit something: The latest entry in the Ohio Crybaby Bridge Project is, so far, the most frustrating one I’ve tried to research. And when it comes to Crybaby Bridges in general, that’s saying a lot!
What makes Mary Jane’s Bridge such an enigma is that no one, at least not anyone I’ve ever spoken with or interviewed, seems to know exactly where the bridge is located. Add to that the fact that several sites on the Internet have started giving the bridge multiple locations throughout Ohio, including a non-existent town, and the whole thing can make you want to bang your head against the wall.
But fear not, gentle reader! I think I might have finally found the actual bridge in question! Or did I? It certainly looks like a Crybaby Bridge, doesn’t it?
So here’s where I need your help. Head over to the Mary Jane’s Bridge page and see what I was able to find. Then let me know what you think. And as always, if you’ve got something to add to the legend, drop me a line or leave a comment below.
And as always, if this is your first visit to the Crybaby Bridge Project, swing on over to the Ohio Crybaby Bridge Project Home Page to see what all the fuss is about!
